Welcome to Forrest Elementary
"The Place to Grow"
Tanglewood is a school wide concert performed by our fantastic students & staff each year. This tradition started 24 years ago by our talented music teacher, Christine Knitel. The evening provides an opportunity for our community to celebrate our amazing school! This year, the theme of Tanglewood is "100 years of Friendship."

Manner's Monday is a program designed to teach our students all about proper dining etiquette. Students are invited to the Forrest Bistro to enjoy a 3 course meal and learn the proper etiquette when dining at a restaurant, wedding, or special event!
The 3rd and 4th grade students participate in a 8-week program run by Mrs. Susan Thomasson. Students learn how to tell a story by developing technical skills and using self-expression through movement.
The 1st and 2nd grade students participate in a 9-day Arts-in-Education residency wherein students study the art of the Clown! Through the exploration and mastery of circus skills and clowning techniques, the students are given an opportunity to break through their personal barriers and discover more of their own abilities.
